2018 Council Elections
Fellow grad students,
We, the GSA Council, are excited to connect with you again!
Each year, TWUGSA (Trinity Western University Graduate Student Association) holds an election for graduate students to form a new student association council. The role of a member of the TWUGSA council, which includes a stipend, involves acting as advocates to the TWU administration in regular meetings, as well as coordinating with the whole TWUGSA team on initiatives that serve to enhance the graduate student experience.
For the upcoming academic year 2018-2019, we are calling an election for the following positions:
3 Executive Positions: President, Executive Vice President, and Vice President for Finance
6 Graduate Student Representative Positions: 3 ACTS Seminaries and 3 School of Graduate Studies
Descriptions of the responsibilities of these positions can be found here: Position Descriptions
If you consider this opportunity a good fit for you, please reply to Duncan Keist (firstname.lastname@example.org) by submitting a short (less than 300 words) bio on or before Monday, June 11, 2018. This bio will be use to introduce yourself and your platform to the student body. It should include your goals for the TWU graduate student community. Don't forget to indicate which position for which you are running.
The General Election will be on June 15, 2018 from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm in the Graduate Collegium.
Warm spring wishes,
TWUGSA Executive Vice President 2017-2018
